How to use this course

Before we get started, I want to let you know it is okay to take this class at your own pace. Practicing pronouns can be a bumpy process and we may have to unlearn and relearn concepts because of what we might have been taught before.

Troubleshooting + Tips:

  1. You can start/resume the course as you need; it's self-paced
  2. Graphics are included at the end in the resources section to highlight some of the learnings that you can then share with your networks
  3. Do comment on lectures where that's enabled if you feel comfortable; it encourages others to do the same
  4. If I'm talking too slow/too fast, use the gear icon on the bottom right-hand side of the video to adjust the speed. 1x is the default
  5. If the video is blurry, use the same gear icon to force the quality to 720p or above
  6. In that same area, click the double-box/rectangle icon to make the video full screen. Hit the escape key to exit out of that
  7. You'll be able to see your course progress on the upper left-hand side
  8. You can click into each of the lectures at any time, even after you've completed them
  9. Click "Complete and Continue" in the upper right-hand corner to mark a lecture as complete and move to the next one

Lastly, you can also take this class on any device through your browser. This is a great way to keep resources on the go that you can refer to at any time. At this time, an iOS app is available for download. Here's a guide on how to use it as a student.
